Harrow Sweet pears are extra sweet, juicy, and a little more firm than Bartlett. They are great for fresh eating, and drying. This is a new variety that we have not canned, but we assume it would can very well. Like Bartlett, these are ripe when they begin to turn yellow and soften at the stem.
